Download Manager won't download/download is frozen.
We know how frustrating it can be when you've just purchased a library and are having problems getting access to it. Thank you for your patience, and please know that if you're on a tight deadline and trying to get immediate access to your sounds, you can always access, search and download your purchased sounds via our SoundQ desktop app, or the by logging into your account on the prosoundeffects.com website.
We have a comprehensive Download Manager troubleshooting guide available here which should help you with our most common issues, but if you need to submit a support ticket for further assistance, please attach your .log file – you can find it here:
- PSE Download Manager dropdown > Open Log Directory > "download-manager-events.log"
If a large library download seems stuck at 98 or 99%
This can happen when download links time out across the process of a large library download. It's usually only one or two files that are missing. Give it a few minutes to see if Download Manager is able to refresh the links on its own. If it still hasn't completed the download, close the application, open it again, and restart the download for the library that was having problems. It will take some time to look at all the files you've already downloaded successfully, and then finally fill in the missing files.
